The Problem With Preparing on Your Own
If you have spent any time searching for ISTQB CT-GenAI study material online, you already know the landscape:
Outdated or incorrect content everywhere. The CT-GenAI syllabus v1.1 was released in April 2026. Most free content you find online either covers the older v1.0 syllabus or, worse, confuses this certification with the separate CT-AI (AI Testing) certification. These are different exams with different syllabi. Using the wrong material means memorizing answers that will not appear on your exam.
The GenAI domain moves faster than any other ISTQB topic. Prompt engineering techniques, LLM architectures, and AI regulations (the EU AI Act, the NIST AI RMF, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act) are evolving rapidly. Generic AI articles and YouTube tutorials do not map to the specific learning objectives ISTQB actually tests. You end up knowing a lot about AI but failing questions on topics like LLMOps, shadow AI risks, or the six components of a structured prompt.
No realistic practice under exam conditions. The CT-GenAI exam includes K3-level questions that present realistic testing scenarios and ask you to apply prompt engineering concepts. These are harder than typical multiple-choice questions. If you have never practised identifying hallucinations in LLM output or selecting the right prompting technique for a given test task under timed pressure, exam day will be difficult.
Expensive training courses. Accredited CT-GenAI training courses typically cost $1,500 to $3,500. For many candidates — especially those paying out of pocket in India, Southeast Asia, or Latin America — that is a steep investment for a specialist-level exam.
This package solves all four problems for $99.
What is Inside the Package
Everything is organized in a single download. No hunting, no piecing together, no wondering if you have the right version.
1. 160+ Exam Dumps Questions from Recent Exams (4 Full Sets)
Eight sets of questions from the recent real exam (dumps) based on the current v4.0 exam pattern, with answers. These are organized by exam board so you can focus on the question style most relevant to your board (ASTQB, BCS, iSQI, GASQ, ITB, TTB, SASTQB).
This is the core of the package. Candidates consistently tell us that practising with these questions is what made the difference between passing and failing.
2. Full Audio Podcast explaining the Syllabus and Exam Content
Over an hour long podcast explaining the learning objective of the CT-GenAI Syllabus and the exam content in plain English. You will get insights to the syllabus by just listening to the audio podcast during your travel or free time.
3. Official ISTQB Practice Exam and v1.1 Syllabus
The official syllabus v1.1 and sample exam paper published by ISTQB.org, included in the package so you do not need to hunt for them. These are freely available from ISTQB, but having them organized alongside the premium questions saves time and keeps everything in one place.
4. Official ISTQB Glossary
The complete official glossary in an HTML app form – so you can practice your understanding of the important concept of the syllabus.
5. The Complete CT-GenAI v1.1 Exam Guide (PDF, 65+ Pages)
A full-length self-study textbook covering all five chapters of the v1.1 syllabus, written by certified ISTQB professionals with hands-on generative AI testing experience. This is not a summary or a slide deck. It is a detailed, book-style guide with one additional set of sample practice exam questions.

Who This Package Is For
ASTQB (USA), BCS (UK), iSQI (Germany, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, and others), GASQ, ITB (Indian Testing Board), TTB (Turkey), SASTQB (South Africa).
If you are unsure whether your exam board is covered, contact us before purchasing. We will confirm within 24 hours.
Prerequisite: You must hold the ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL) certificate before taking the CT-GenAI exam. This is a mandatory entry requirement set by ISTQB. If you do not yet have CTFL, check our CTFL v4.0 Study Guide first.
Experience level does not matter. The package works for testers who have never used ChatGPT and for those who use LLMs daily. Whether you are a manual tester in Pune exploring AI-assisted testing, an automation engineer in Austin integrating LLMs into your CI/CD pipeline, or a test manager in London defining your team’s GenAI strategy, the study guide meets you where you are.
The best part of the study guide was all the premium ISTQB Dumps with answers. Also you get 6 months free updates.

What Candidates Say
We have been publishing ISTQB study materials since 2009. Over that time, thousands of candidates have used this package and shared their results. Here is a sample:
“I passed CT-GenAI with 95% on my first attempt. The practice questions were harder than the actual exam, which meant I was well prepared. The prompt engineering scenarios in the study guide were exactly the type of thing the exam tested.” Latha V — Hyderabad, India (ITB)
“As a test manager, I needed to understand GenAI strategy and adoption, not just the technical details. Chapter 5 of the study guide covered organizational transformation, shadow AI, and LLM selection criteria clearly and concisely. Passed ASTQB exam first try.” David R — Chicago, USA (ASTQB)
The hallucination vs reasoning error distinction in Chapter 3 was a game-changer. The exam tested this exact concept in two different questions. Without the study guide examples, I would have confused them.” Sanjay K — Bangalore, India (ITB)
“I bought this package because I could not find any other CT-GenAI v1.1 material online. Everything else was either for the older v1.0 or was actually CT-AI content mislabeled as CT-GenAI. Passed BCS exam with 80%.” Rachel T — London, UK (BCS)
If you are looking for a complete ISTQB Foundation Level self-study guide, this is the one you should buy. Lots of useful stuff. Passed BCS CTFL-V4.0.

Why This Package Instead of Alternatives
vs. Free material from Google and YouTube
Free resources are scattered, often outdated, and do not map to the v1.1 learning objectives. Most YouTube content covers general AI concepts, not the specific testing applications that the exam tests. This package is organized chapter by chapter, aligned to the current syllabus, and includes realistic practice questions.
vs. Expensive classroom training ($1,500 to $3,500)
Accredited CT-GenAI training is thorough but expensive. If your employer pays for it, take it. If you are paying out of pocket, this self-study package covers the same syllabus for a fraction of the cost. Many of our candidates use this package alongside classroom training for additional practice.
vs. The CT-AI (AI Testing) certification materials
CT-AI and CT-GenAI are different certifications. CT-AI covers testing of AI systems (how to test an AI product). CT-GenAI covers testing with generative AI (how to use GenAI tools in your testing work). If you are preparing for CT-GenAI, do not use CT-AI materials — the overlap is minimal, and the topics are different. Our comparison article explains the differences in detail.
vs. Brain dump sites
Brain dump sites sell memorized answers to specific questions. ISTQB rotates its question bank, and the CT-GenAI exam is particularly resistant to this approach because of its scenario-based K3 questions. Memorizing answers will not help when you face a new scenario you have never seen. Our package teaches you to understand the concepts and apply the techniques, which is what the exam actually requires.
vs. Reading only the official syllabus
The official syllabus is free and accurate, but it is a specification document, not a study guide. It tells you what you need to know but does not teach you. Our study guide explains each concept with examples, scenarios, and context that the syllabus intentionally omits.

How to Use This Package: A Recommended Study Plan
The CT-GenAI exam covers a wide but learnable body of knowledge. We recommend the following approach for most candidates:
Week 1: Chapters 1 and 5 (Foundation and Strategy)
Start with Chapter 1 to build your understanding of GenAI fundamentals. Then read Chapter 5, which is lighter in content and gives you the organizational context for everything that follows. Together, these chapters carry about 22% of the exam marks and contain mostly K1 and K2 questions. Get these right, and you have a solid base.
Weeks 2 and 3: Chapter 2 (Prompt Engineering)
Spend two full weeks on Chapter 2. This is not optional — it carries nearly 45% of the exam marks and includes K3 (Apply) questions that require you to practise, not just read. Work through the study guide examples. Try the prompting techniques yourself using any LLM (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or a locally hosted model). Focus especially on the six prompt components, the difference between prompt chaining and few-shot prompting, and how to apply GenAI to specific test tasks (analysis, design, regression, monitoring).
Week 4: Chapters 3 and 4 (Risks and Infrastructure)
Chapter 3 is the second most important chapter by weight (~20%). Focus on the distinction between hallucinations, reasoning errors, and biases. Practise identifying them in sample LLM outputs. Know the temperature parameter and its effect on determinism. Learn the regulation names (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001) and their one-line descriptions.
Chapter 4 covers RAG, agents, fine-tuning, and LLMOps. Understand the concepts — you do not need to implement them, but you need to explain them and distinguish them from each other.
Week 5: Practice Questions and Mock Exams
Work through all five sets of practice questions. Start untimed, then switch to timed practice (40 questions in 60 minutes). After each set, review every wrong answer. Use the detailed-explanation set to understand the reasoning behind correct answers.
Week 6: Final Review and Exam Booking
Take one final full-length timed mock exam. If you consistently score 75% or higher, book the exam. If not, spend one more week on your weakest chapter — the practice question results will tell you exactly where to focus.
For candidates who already work with GenAI tools daily, this timeline can be compressed to 3 to 4 weeks. For candidates new to generative AI, allow the full 6 weeks.

Getting to see the actual exam dumps and the latest pattern is very useful. I got all the questions from this package in my exam.
